Welcome to the home of the Sydney Spectres Gay & Lesbian Basketball Club.
The first season for 2012 kicked off 17th January for both Men's and Women's teams competing as part of the City of Sydney Basketball Competition.
The Sydney Spectres Gay & Lesbian Basketball Club provides an environment free from harassment and discrimination for members and friends of the GLBTQ community to play basketball and fulfill their athletic aspirations.

DIV 6 WOMANS CHAMPIONS //
Congratulations to the Spectres Blue Div 6 Woman's team (below) for a fantastic win over the Newtown Sonics. In a low scoring but fierce match, captain Anna lead the team to a convincing win, with help from the unstoppable Jo inside the paint, high scoring and providing towering defense, the Sonics had no chance.

DIV 4 MENS CHAMPIONS //
And more season 3, 2011 news, congratulations to the victorious Spectres Orange Div 4 Men's team (below).
Playing familiar foes Inner Westlife, the team pulled together to put in a mighty effort guided by the well oiled Stubbs Brothers, like bookends, they were all over it, helped by strong boards by Pedro, and precise outside shooting by Rich, Inner Westlife fell to the Spectres achieving a much wanted result, a feat they were unable to do in two previous grand finals in 2009.
